- Simple preparation for beat, rhythm and pitch
- Rhythm patterns (e.g. early beginner concepts)
- Rhythm charts in various time signatures
- Rhythmic dictation
- Scale forms
- Pitch – singing Kodaly – developing sense of tonic / moveable and fixed do
- Intervals (Interval chart, simple songs to help with intervals)
- Triads/Harmony/Cadences
- Melodic Dictation
- Expression and mood/Form/modulation
Part 3 – Discussion – follow up (approximately 15 min)
